Josh James | Artist

I’m a creative lead and designer working across design, systems, and experimentation. My background spans motion, branding, and content, with a focus on how things function as much as how they look. I build tools, automate repetitive work, and prototype ideas until they become usable systems.

I’ve worked in outdoor lighting, directing shoots, building content systems, and developing workflows that keep production efficient and consistent, from on-site shoots to automated templates and scripts. Outside of work I build side projects like 3D prints, RC planes, tools, and small systems, often exploring ideas that turn into usable experiments like QR-based bike races or game concepts. I’m moving toward creative direction in a hands-on sense, preferring execution and problem-solving in real time over purely conceptual work.
